Big weekend.

We finished the chicken run and got in our first big hike of the season.

This is for the birds.

Building a chicken coop, that is. Two more solid days devoted to Loretta, Dottie, Dolly & Minnie (roo goes to chicken swap next weekend).

It's soooo close to being finished. Tom's done a completely awesome job, it looks fantastic.  However, we are both ready to be done. If I never smell wood stain again, it'll be too soon.

Raging Saturday nights.

This was my super crazy Saturday night last weekend. A glass of good rum (http://www.infiniumspirits.com/brands/zaya_rum/zaya_rum.html#homeView) and a paintbrush, holed up inside our chicken coop.

Hopefully this weekend the poultry will move into their new home!
