Heading out to do the Wild West Relay with eleven other awesome runners this weekend. Will post full report after the fun...200+ miles, a few mountain passes, 12 teammates, 3 legs run each and about 30 hours. Fun fun fun!

Baffled no longer.
I wondered how my squirrel baffle on my bird feeder pole was slinking down at night, along with major amounts of bird food consumed. Mystery solved, thanks to our handy trail cam. Little bugger - looks like the food will have to come in at night for a while!

Argentine Pass take 2
We went back for Argentine Peak today with our friend Andi. This time, we made it despite some dark clouds. Luckily they never gathered or turned dangerous and we summited...then promptly headed back down. Gorgeous wild flowers along the trail!

Headed up to near Keystone today for some hiking. Number of people we saw on the trail: 0. Fantastic. This is the view from up near we turned around at about 13,000ft.

New Kicks
Patiently waiting on my new hiking sandals to arrive! I need to break them in before our trip to Jordan, Egypt & Kenya in a couple of months. We are hoping to do lots of hiking and playing in the water in Jordan. They're a lighter version of my current Chacos, which are very grippy but very heavy. You just can't beat Chacos for hiking...

I love all garage sales and estate sales, junk or not. Found this gem in the basement at an estate sale the other day. Words cannot say enough...what a bargain at $12. (No, I didn't buy it.)
